Our Process
Design
With our team we will go over your requirements and vision and either choose one of our existing designs or work together to come up with something that suits your needs.
Design fees may apply where changes are required to be made to existing plans
Estimate and Quote
Once you've selected your design, we’ll provide an initial estimate. If you're satisfied and ready to move forward and we have undertaken a planning review and soil testing, we will then issue a detailed formal quote, clearly outlining inclusions and exclusions. Additionally, we'll provide a list of any optional features you've requested
Soil Testing and planning review
In order to determine the foundation type and district plan requirements we will need to undertake soil testing and a planning review. This way we have all the required information for council consent application. This process is an upfront cost of $3500+GST
Consent application lodged
Your design is finalised by our designer and a consent application is lodged for your build
Build Begins
Let’s get started! Once your plans receive council consent, we can begin building your new home. This starts with excavation and laying the foundations—a crucial step that can vary in complexity depending on ground conditions, foundation type, and weather during construction.
Walkthrough
This is the time you get to walk through your new home and get a feel for the space. At this time we also go over the electrical layout.
Handover
Once the house is finished and received a council CCC it is time to move in!
